正當我在午睡補眠的時候﹐忽然感覺到一股震動。
開始還以為是哪個地方又有地震﹐
余震傳到這裡來了。

正要出門時﹐媽媽才告訴我說﹐
剛才我們家前面那個JAYA SUPERMARKET崩塌了。

我趕緊跑去看個究竟。
現場已經圍滿了人群﹐
建築物的1/3已經崩塌﹐暫時還沒了解到狀況﹐
死傷人數不明。

I felt the quake and vibration when I took a short nap during that hour,
I thought there is an earthquake again somewhere else in Indonesia,
Until I prepared to go out for shooting assignment,
my mom just told me that Jaya Supermarket just collapsed.

It was terrible,
I didn’t get any latest updates from the official,
but i just spent less than 10 minutes there to bring you guys some snapshots of what’s going on.
My house just a 5 minutes walk distance from the building,
It was terrible.
It’s been here for more than 17 years,
and now 1/3 of the building were collapsed.
Not sure if there is any injury and death occurs,
but i can see the fireman and policeman and doctor running here and there.
Wish god can help them.

    According to The Nut Graph, 7 people are trapped under the rubble and 2 have been sent to UH (currently in stable condition)

    do u know if it was intentionally brought down or ?? Damn…i grew up with jaya supermarket around! Hopefully nobody is hurt!

    How I used to walk around in that building every evening, and now gone by mishap… hope those trapped inside will be rescued alive soon…

    abi : no i don’t think so, it was an accident, whether by careless mistake made, we not too sure.
    hudxuan : section 14, Petaling Jaya.
    Ricky : they are undergoing the demolition, and what i heard was, they having a tea break during that hour and most of the workers were not in, and it’s considered very lucky.

    tats the place i always pass by from my house to the places where i get my food, this building was been there since i was kid. yes let’s pray hoping the victims will be rescued alive very soon….
